Tony has been in the fitness industry for over 6 years now, working not only as a Personal Trainer, but as a Membership Specialist, and as a Service Rep greeting and getting to know the surrounding community. He started working for a fitness center in 2011 and fell in love with the atmosphere; from the passion for fitness from the surrounding trainers, to the rustling and bustling of the hardworking members chipping away at their goals, and to the friendly staff that he worked so hard with. Tony did not know training was for him, until he saw the look on his client’s face when she had done what she never thought she could do. From there, he was hooked!
Since then, Tony has helped copious amounts of people reach their goals, fix ailments, and live a better, healthier lifestyle. To Tony, being fit is not just going to a gym and lifting weights or running marathons. It’s a lifestyle change to help you look better, feel better, and BE better. It’s about enjoying life and not being restricted to the couch watching television, or going to the doctors and being prescribed medications that do more harm than good. It’s especially not about going out to eat and ordering a head of lettuce with a crouton! Life is about balance, and working hard now will pave the way for an easier future!
Tony loves to help people achieve their goals, whether it be weight loss, gaining strength, learning new workouts, increasing their flexibility, or adjusting their diet. Where he has peaked his interest, however, is in the realm of physical therapy. He even returned to school to pursue a degree in kinesiology and sports medicine with the hopes to one day have his own physical therapy practice.
Aside from his passion for helping people, Tony also loves the outdoors. He is an avid snowboarder and loves to travel. He loves to hike and play sports as well. Currently he plays recreational softball and kickball. He has a firm belief in fitness being a lifestyle. He does not believe being “in shape” means spending what little time you have in the gym. The time you have should be spent being active, doing the things you love.
